New Zealand missing the organic boat.

New Zealand is missing the organic boat, as organic products are going viral worldwide.
The AgriPro Asia (APA) 2010 survey showed that over 65 percent of the visitors were interested in organic products. 75 percent covered business in Asian and other European and American regions. With a rising demand of organic products..
The APA is planning a mojor 0rganic expo at the end of 2011 hosts will be AgriPro Asia Expo (APA) and Agri-Conference Asia (ACA) the Strategic Agri-Trade Event to be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
Using Hong Kong’s strategic position in international agri-trade activity, APA will serve as a staging ground for “invading” Greater China and Asia Pacific Region with international products. Which will include green and organic products, meat, poultry, aqua-products, vegetable, fruit and technology. It’s an important event to explore organic products markets.
The APA event is also supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Hong Kong Fish Marketing Organization, and Hong Kong Vegetable Marketing Organization, China Organic Food Certification Center, Chinese Organic Agricertification Association, Biological Farmers of Australia, International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements, The Organic Food Chain Pty, among others.
Meanwhile the ACA event will feature presentations on organic farming, advance technology, management, new marketing development, agri-investment, trade regulations/ policies and latest industry trend. It will also touch hot topics like food safety and organic trends were also discussed with audiences including producers, importers, exporters, wholesalers, distributors, and investors.
There will also be a Middle East Natural and Organic Products Expo 2011, held at the end of the month.The Middle East Natural and Organic Product Expo is a “never to be missed” expo in the region as it attracts high quality trade buyers from all over the world especially from Global Corporate Challenge, Middle East and African countries.
The post on the ONOPRA page asserts the overwhelming response from the trade community shows a high demand for organic products in the Middle East market. The Expo will be held in Dubai, the cosmopolitan city-state of the UAE. Dubai offers a vantage point to companies for regional penetration with the city being the trading and export hub for the whole of Middle East and Africa.
The show is expected to feature organic food, fruits and vegetables, including fine organic foods, dairy products and beverages as well as other green foods and juices.
